Conduct Guidelines

The following guidelines below must be followed in Troop 1148:

1. Scouts and Leaders must follow the Scout Oath.

2. Scouts and Leaders will follow the Scout Law.

3. Scouts and Leaders will be respectful of others at all times in their words and their actions (to leaders, parents, and scouts alike).

4. Our Troop is a safe and welcoming space for all. We will not tolerate bullying, hazing, physical or verbal harassment, or any other malicious behavior directed toward others.

5. Scouts and Leaders will handle gear and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

6. Scouts and Leaders will show respect for the flag.

7. Scouts and Leaders will show respect for our meeting facilities.

8. Scouts and leaders will endeavor to live by the Outdoor Code and follow Leave No Trace principles.

9. Scouts will follow the Buddy System and inform adult Leaders of their location. If asked to be a buddy, be a buddy.

10. Scouts and Leaders will follow the Troop's uniform policies.

11. Scouts will follow directions received through the chain of command.

12. Scouts and Leaders will use electronics in a responsible and appropriate manner at Scouting events.
